Health Safety and The Law
Participants will be trained in the requirements of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations as these apply to their workplace.
Participants will become familiar with their individual rights and responsibilities, and those rights of other parties involved in the Internal Responsibility System.

- "Competency" requirements
- The role of the Joint Health & Safety Committee
- The 3 rights of Workers
- Critical Injuries defined
- Enforcement, Offenses and Penalties
- Due Diligence defense requirements
- Practical application of the Industrial Regulations in their workplace
- Designated substance - Lead Regulation 843 (where applicable)
