Harassment - Human Rights Code Training

The objectives of the training are to create awareness for the provisions of the Ontario Human Rights Code in order to help reduce conflicts in the workplace, to increase the effectiveness of the Employee Assistance Program (or similar program), and to provide more support to the Employer's Policy, which in turn will help to ensure "Due Diligence".

Participants will learn and discuss the answers to the following questions:
  1. What are the prohibited grounds for discrimination in the workplace?
  2. What is harassment?
  3. What attitudes and behaviours have we learned?
  4. What are the various forms of harassment?
  5. What is a poisoned environment?
  6. How do we identify workplace harassment?
  7. Who has the obligation to prevent harassment in the workplace?
  8. Why does our company have a policy?
  9. What should/does our policy state?
  10. How can we prevent harassment in the workplace?

This half day program has been developed for all levels throughout the organization.
